Money Mushrooms.Although finding Money Trees throughout England (and Lancashire in particular) is fairly common, Money Mushrooms are pretty rare. In fact, the only ones I know of can be found along the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail. 

Some believe hammering coins into trees brings good luck. Some believe it will bring further money. Others say that hammering an amount of coins in will result in the same amount of children in the future. 

Britain is full of strange, and sometimes unexplainable, customs like these… but that’s why I love this place. =]
